I just read about Mike Bliss' heartbreaking miss. He was trying to race his way into the Daytona 500 - and he was a serious underdog longshot. He came damn close. He missed it by only a few seconds.

Britney Spears, in, out, over the top
Britney Spears checked into — and promptly out of — a rehab facility, reports People.com. She's been acting a bit odd lately, and her close friends asked her to get help.
The rehad centre is Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua.
Sounds like some celebrity magazines aren't so sure that the speedy rehad really happened. Access Hollywood claims to have confirmation that Spears was never in rehab.
Who knows. Hopefully Britney pulls it together and starts to perform again.
