Richard Ostell boosts Liz Claiborne Fashion

"Just because you live in the middle of the country doesn't mean you don't want fashion," says Richard Ostell, vice president and creative director of Liz Claiborne.

Word is that the old-school fashion shop is making a come-back. Liz Claiborne is trying to penetrate mainstream America with new fashion design and fashion sense. Only problem is that most of us don't have any fashion sense!

Jennifer Aniston trying to quit smoking

Word is that Jennifer Aniston is trying to quit smoking and is also dropping caffeine out of her daily diet. You go Jennifer!

Personally, I like coffee too much to kill the caffeine, but I hate smokers. Quit smoking, quit smoking right now. It is deadly and ugly and makes you smell bad. There is nothing cool about smoking... nothing.

Linday Lohan

Lindsay Lohan kept her movie crew members waiting for hours on the set of “I Know Who Killed Me” on Feb. 21st. “When she finally arrived, she said that she needed to take a nap,” a source told In Touch Weekly.

You can take the Lindsay Lohan out of rehab, but you can't take the Linday Lohan out of Lindsay Lohan!

Angelina Jolie adopts a boy

Angelina Jolie is adopting another child. This time a boy from Vietnam.

No word yet on the types of drugs that Howard K. Stern was giving Anna Nicole.

This will surely spark additional investigation and media attention.

Nigel Lythgoe defends American Idol from Rosie O'Donnell

Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer of the TV show "American Idol", issued a statement in response to Rosie O'Donnell's criticism of the show. Here is the statement:

"Without wishing to add to the obvious self-promotion of Ms. O'Donnell, I feel as though I must refute her absurd and ridiculous claims that 'American Idol' is racist and/or weightist. Ms. O'Donnell has, once again, spoken without thought or knowledge. Viewers need only look at the show tonight to realize that 'American Idol' constantly confirms to America that talent has nothing to do with weight or color."

Rosie seems to pick fights with all sorts os people. I bet Nigel Lythgoe and Donald trump would have a good time swapping stories over a few cocktails.

Girls Gone Wild and Antonella Barba

Joe Francis, the maker of Girls Gone Wild videos, has offered Antonella Barba a $250,000 contract to appear in a Girls Gone Wild video as a "celebrity host". Awesome. I seriously doubt that she'll accept the offer, but it's still pretty funny.
