Summer's here: hot looks from latest editorials

Summer has officially arrived in Greece, or, at least in Athens. It's 33 degrees Celsius during day which means it's time to ditch jeans and shoes in favor of shorts and sandals and add a few extra light summer tops to my wardrobe. I also put together this mini scrapbook of the best looks from summer fashion shoots by some of the best magazines for style inspiration.

Alexa Chung covers Vogue UK's June issue

Seeing ALEXA CHUNG on the June cover of VOGUE UK today (first spotted on Twitter) quite brightened up my day. I find her one of the coolest fashionistas out there - a smart model who also made a name for herself in television and journalism, and managed to capture the world with her outward intelligent style at the same time. So I raise my glass to Alexa, and looking forward to viewing her latest Vogue photo shoot in full - once I get my hands on this summery-looking issue.

Kate Moss heats up French and Brazilian Vogue May 2011 issues

Just back from vacation to everyday blog schedule and viral fashion news and what do I see? KATE MOSS bares all for May issue VOGUE BRAZIL and dazzles with colors, elegance and stunning postures in VOGUE PARIS. I certainly praise the daring act of Brazilian Vogue editors, photography master MARIO TESTINO and, of course, Kate herself, who appears so bold and sensual at the same time. Can't wait to see the rest of the photo shoot. And of course Vogue Paris photos are just gorgeous with Kate modelling all of the spring/summer hottest trends with her usual ease and attitude. Looks like May is going to be HOT!

Natasha Poly

Natasha Poly's real name is Natalya Sergeyevna Polevshchikova. She is a Russian model. She is born in 1985. She began modelling in Russia as 15-year-sold. Now Poly has appeared in many advertisement campaigns such as Gucci, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton and Jimmy Choo. She has been on the cover of Vogue many times.

These pictures in here are from Vogue magazine. You can find more pictures of Natasha Poly in Supermodel Images. Here in the end I will put a wonderful cover of Vogue Paris.

Sasha Pivovarova on Vogue Korea April Cover

I simply loved that picture on VOGUE Korea April 2011 cover. SASHA PIVOVAROVA may be a Russian blonde, yet this outfit, make-up and thoughtful stare create an image of a Korean gentleman from an old movie...

My new love - French Vogue

It so happened that I never actually bought FRENCH VOGUE before. I have two excuses: 1) I lived all my life (until last summer) in Kyiv, Ukraine, where such a magazine was hard to find and if found - probably way overpriced; 2) I was doing French lessons back in high school and have forgotten a lot since then - so usually prefer English publications.

But having flapped through my first ever French edition (namely March 2011) just yesterday, I can say it certainly won't be my last (and helping me refresh my French is not the only reason). From the EMMANUELLE-inspired cover to DALII-esque jewellery photo shoot inside - the whole mag is extremely arty, provocative and conceptual but somehow playful and grounded at the same time. It seems to be targeted at an intelligent fashionista rather than a label-crazed shopaholic. In short Vogue Paris still keeps up the image of French capital as the most fashionable, sexy and classiest city as seen in the romantic movies - even if it's not entirely true anymore. It's a pleasant "fantaisie" you can live through magazine's pages.
